You are most definitely a BADASS artist. How do I know? Because you have inspired and taught me so many things about photography, creativity and what it means to be an artist in the truest sense of the word. That means making art that is meaningful to YOU. Thanks for being a part of my artistic journey Jerred!
Oh my. I can’t tell you how much this means to me. And you have inspired me more than you know! All your cool soups and experiments. I swear you were one of the ones leading the way for me!!!
First, Fringe is absolutely badass. 👍✨️ Second, I love your sci-fi landscapes. Third, you are definitely an artist!
And I hear you. There is always a push-pull between creating beautiful art and following our internal wierdness. The later makes me feel connected to my work as an artist. The former actually sells. I create hoping that the two will someday magically merge.
Thank you for your brutally honest and inspiring post!
I think photographers are artists using electricity as their medium. Compared to someone throwing mud on a table and making a bowl or another glueing macaroni on cardboard it’s not the medium as much as the idea.
I'm digging the laser eyes. I live in a small town that 6/10ths of a mile square and it has more than 50 art galleries. You could clean up with a showing of laser eyes images.

Hey, Artemis!!! Thank you for this - I'm so happy you like my sci-fi weirdness! And I appreciate all the kind words. YOU ROCK!
Awe, you rock, Jerred! 😎 It is absolutely my pleasure to compliment your images. You inspire me!
Interesting work, Jerred! I love the originality and your passion.
As a Husker and former resident of Omaha (23 years but I left after college), it's cool to see my hometown again and the talent in it.
I got a few years on you but I love we share the same things from our childhood.
Good to meet you! Chris, Westside '86
Westside!!! I taught there for almost 10 years!! so cool!
