Thank you Jerred for the tour! I loved it! I don't get to go to that part of the country and just having a glimpse of the car rides over would been enough but the images are outstanding! I especially LOVED the schoolhouse and cemetery... but most of the landscape shots were just gorgeous.
Oh man. YES! That would be fun, right? Lol!! I visited Claflin, Kansas once. The furniture store bought up pretty much the entire town and turned it into a Western-themed thing. It was fun to see!
I think cloudy weather can offer some of the best photo opportunities for the soft moody light. I'm glad you got yourself out of the house because this is some really fabulous shots. I always love photos of abandoned places, and your photos of old cars and such in a small town. Those from the car show are lovely! Perhaps I should get to the local vintage agricultural show later this summer for some old tractors.
I really like the architectural photos you took in Scribner, especially the doors (?) with the ivy (?) growing over them. I know what you mean about not wanting to leave the house. It's hot here in Phoenix right now. But sometimes leaving leads to adventure--and cool photos.

Fun tour! Having lived in NE for 20 years, I’ve never been to many of these towns unless they hosted a baseball tournament (I think Scribner used to).
These town are itchin’ for some rich YouTuber to buy them and turn them into the backdrop for their new channel
