Let go.
I had my camera on auto mode for the first time in a long time. Sometimes I need to just let things be.

Patience.
These horses didn’t know what to expect of me, but they were always near, always watching. With time, they learn to trust you.
Resilience
This is a new horse, ready for training. He might be a bit disgruntled, but he’s going to learn to love his home.
The only way is always forward.
Don’t let fear stop me.
Look at this cat. She’s fearless… the entire field is her territory. I have a problem just asking for people to buy a print! (But - you really can buy one of the prints on this page by going to this link on my new website!)
Imperfect is perfect.
These are all jpegs, and that terrifies me. But for these photos, I threw a diffusion filter on the lens, and just let the jpegs rock.
(CAMERA INFO: I was using the OM SYSTEM OM-3, and it’s an incredible jpeg machine!)
My son is a gift.
I hope I’m cherishing these moments.
Beauty never ends.
Even in the fog, which reminds me of the movie The Mist, which is really terrifying and has a pretty messed up turn of events.
What have you learned lately while taking photographs?
In other news, I shared this video the other day:
And my friend and greatest photographer Donna texted me:
So we went out, and she used my OM SYSTEM OM-1 MarkII in a local garden. She used the 90mm f/3.5 PRO and took the camera for a spin. That night she sent me THESE INCREDIBLE SHOTS:

Wow! It was like the camera and lens was made for her.
So of course, she later sent me this, as if any of this was MY fault!
Helping other learn about photography is one of the coolest things I do, and I thought that was fun.
Do you know someone who might like the advice I have here, or the general vibe I have? I’d be honored if you shared a link to this. You rock - thank you!
I love helping people. Do you have anything you’d like to know about photography? Send me a question, or just say hello. (I have a community on Discord too!)
