Excellent album, Jerred. Doing it in monochrome was much more effective than doing it in color, IMO. Color would have provided too much extraneous information that would have distracted from the message, if that makes sense.
Great photos of the No Kings rally you went to! I agree that shooting b&w was the way to go! And thanks for posting this even knowing that some people might not agree or like that you did this. In my opinion, everything is political in some way. Photography, along with being an art form, has always been used to document what is going on in the world. Your photos here are both documenting a protest and art!
Wow. Thank you so much. I get nervous sometimes. I was a high school teacher for almost 20 years, and most kids knew my political leanings. BUT - I never broadcast it, and stayed away from it online… but I’m no longer a high school teacher! Thanks for the kind comment and the support - means the world to me.

Absolutely! The color ones were super saturated with the sun, which can be cool on some of them, but the monochrome simplifies it. Thanks so much!
