I went for a walk a few weeks ago with my camera, hoping to find some photographs. The path I chose was next to a power substation.
I had my camera with me (OM SYSTEM PEN), and dialed in a JPG recipe to bring out the look and feel of what I was seeing.

Using my camera, I adjusted the colors, contrast and sharpness to look the way I feel about the end of summer: grateful for the summer’s light, but full of sorrow for its last days.
I don’t want this warmth to end.
I fear what the dark, cold days of winter will do to my mind, already fragile with regret and sorrow.

So I will hold these photographs close to my heart as a beacon to hold me together through the coldest and shortest of our harsh winter days.

Just perfect sentiment and capture
Those are just beautiful! The butterfly images are the best! I appreciate the settings tip too. I'm still sticking with my OM-3 for now but we shall see ;)
